Friends of Chakchiuma Swamp is having a outdoor camp at Lee Tartt Nature Preserve for young people next week. CONSERVATION awareness is our goals but we believe the way to reach that goal is through CREATIVITY and CURIOSITY!
Activities will be led by our education team including Brad Garrett, former education director for Strawberry Plains Audubon Center, Allison Ashmore, former horticulture teacher at GHS and Audubon Master Naturalist, Brooke Baker, Entomologist and Spider Expert, and Robin Whitfield, lover of all living things...especially plants and our guest leaders -
Becky Rosamond, USFWS wildlife biologist specializing in snakes, frogs and bats, and Mitchell Robinson, former education director at Strawberry Plains Audubon Center with a heart for birds
and our C Camp Staff Jennifer Brissette-Stuvee and J Monique Cooley
C Camp combines Creativity, Conservation with Curiosity by exploring Lee Tartt Nature Preserve. Students will have one on one instruction by guides, naturalists, teachers & artists.
For ages 8 - 12 years
